Fertility & Preconception Naturopath
Gold Coast based | Online Australia-wide
Evidence-informed naturopathic support for women and couples preparing for pregnancy, trying to conceive naturally, or moving through fertility treatment.
Preparing for pregnancy is about more than a prenatal
Preconception care gives us an opportunity to look at the bigger picture before pregnancy — not just supplements, but your menstrual cycle, ovulation, hormones, nutrient status, thyroid and metabolic health, lifestyle, and any underlying health concerns that may be relevant to you.
Depending on your individual history, we may explore:
Menstrual cycle regularity and ovulation
Hormone patterns
PCOS and insulin resistance
Thyroid function
Nutrient status
Ovarian reserve and AMH where appropriate
Endometriosis
Sleep, stress and lifestyle
Male fertility and sperm health
Previous fertility treatment or pregnancy loss
How I can support you
Preconception preparation
Preconception support before trying to conceive, including cycle health, nutrition, pathology, lifestyle and general health.PMOS & fertility
Support for irregular ovulation, metabolic factors and other fertility-related considerations associated with PMOS.
Trying to conceive
A broader look at cycle patterns, hormone health, thyroid, metabolic health and existing investigations.
IVF support
Nutrition, lifestyle and pathology support designed to sit alongside your fertility specialist’s treatment plan.
Fertility testing: what do we actually look at?
Thyroid + metabolic health
TSH, glucose, insulin and HbA1c.
One of the areas I love most is helping clients understand their pathology rather than simply being told everything is “normal.” Testing should always be individualised.
Hormones
FSH, LH, oestradiol, testosterone, progesterone, prolactin and AMH, where appropriate.
Nutrient status
Iron, ferritin, folate, B12 and vitamin D.
Male fertility
Semen analysis and further investigation, where appropriate.
Testing is always individualised. My role isn’t to order everything available, but to help identify which information may actually be useful and when further medical investigation or referral is appropriate.
Your fertility plan is individual to you
There isn’t one fertility diet, one supplement protocol or one “perfect” cycle that applies to everyone. Your plan is tailored to your health history, current needs, fertility journey and what feels realistic and sustainable for you.
Your plan may include support with:
